What’s it like to have online clinical supervision, supervision consultancy and supervisor’s supervision with me?

Clinical supervision
I started working with Morgan Smith of Wild Her Soul in 2022. Here’s what she says about our work together.
‘I was freshly starting my private practice after having moved to Ireland and felt quite lost in so many areas as I navigated new life and new business at the same time! I was struggling with getting my business, as a whole, to feel good for me. This included counselling, coaching, and women’s circles. From our very first call I felt like Eve was a great fit! I felt that Eve got me and my business unlike most supervisors would because she too has a business with different layers and offerings. This helped me to always feel understood and seen in what I was attempting to create.
‘My work with Eve has been SO beyond helpful as I navigated life as a new business, new counsellor, new life in Ireland, illness, and so much more. Navigating so much meant that my work with Eve was so beyond important on a weekly/fortnightly basis as she helped hold the space for me to navigate all of this while also supporting my work. I often hear Eve’s voice asking me if it is okay for me to do less or make things easier on myself. I feel like I try to go easier on myself in different situations when it comes to daily life and my business.
‘I wish others knew that finding a supervisor who is open to others ways of doing, being, and running a practice/business is possible! For any business person who does more than just counselling/psychotherapy and wants a supervisor who can hold all of their parts, Eve is absolutely brilliant for this!
“I will miss our sessions as you became a part of my self-care over the past 2.5 years! Thank you so much for your support thus far and I will see you next year!”
I look forward to continuing our work together after your maternity leave, Morgan.
I feel very fortunate to have such a supportive and informed supervisor.’

Supervisor’s supervision and coach supervision
We completed our work together in 2024 when Caroline Anthony began a new phase in her career and no longer needed external supervisor’s supervision.
‘I have been working with Eve since 2020 when I commenced the Supervision Certificate with Joan and Robin Shohet. Here are some of my reflections of what the journey has been like for me and the effect that supervision has had on me.
‘I have found supervision to be a freeing experience, whilst exploring moral ethics and values that I subconsciously and consciously have revealed to myself within this powerful work. I love the holistic approach that has evolved from our work together and the impact that has reached into every aspect of me.
‘I have felt so heard and understood within my meanderings of what is pertinent within each session yet has trickled over into everyday life. The being present with whatever was current on the day of a supervision session so suited my neurodiverse leanings, where the immediacy of exploring an issue or topic was so beautifully met and worked with.
‘I had a fear of being exposed within supervision. This experience led to me really trusting myself professionally and also identifying areas where I did feel vulnerable both professionally and personally.
‘The questioning approach that Eve is so expert in gently helped me open myself to being in tune with what felt right for me and how I understand my own behaviours and needs within my professional practice. How important it is to find attunement with my own natural rhythms and authenticity.
‘My favourite element has been working with quirky! I love the sense of fun, yet alternative way to approach life and people which Eve has really supported me with and we have had a lot of fun exploring through this methodology.
‘My self-awareness has grown immensely and I feel as I am entering my third age, that I am well equipped to live with my wisdom and honour it. I am in the final few years heading to retirement and am able to find perspective and agency for a hoped for shared and individual life experience with my husband, sharing hopes and reflecting back on what is important to us.
‘This expands into valuing my own health and how I can live better for my health, embracing a “quiet” way of connecting with communities and nature. I know more about what I can let go of and what really matters. When I look back and see what I am doing differently now, I feel more deeply connected with myself, I am kind to myself, I hold both fear and love close to me whilst honouring them, so I feel safe in how I live.
“Eve has through her curiosity met my own ongoing passion for being curious about everything, my growth has been encouraged and accepted which has allowed me to blossom even in the autumn of my life.”
It was my absolute pleasure, Caroline.
