Embodied Wellbeing
We’re souls in our bodies and yet, the conditioning of entire lifetimes means feeling embodied in the delightful, easy way in which, say a cat delights in luxuriating in a sun puddle often feels alien
Would you like to:
- feel more at ease in your own skin?
- know, with every fibre of your being, that you belong?
- enjoy the things you can do with your ever changing body, befriending it through perimenopause and menopause, illness, injury, recovery, increased strength, stamina and flexibility and any other changes?
Having been so disembodied myself for so many decades, I love supporting people like you – it can be especially challenging with trauma histories and AuDHD (autiSm and ADHD) – in:
- reconnecting with your body’s incredible wisdom
- learning to understand and work with your nervous system
- decolonising your body from white supremacy, patriarchal, ableist, toxic capitalist and other oppressive systems and remembering how to delight in being part of nature, part of the Divine and
- prioritise pleasure and so much of the GOOD stuff about having these bodies we so take for granted.
You can find out more about specific approaches on the following pages but if you’d like us to work even more somatically (with the body), do let me know
- trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming yoga therapy – bodywork you do for yourself
- EFT (Tapping around the face and upper body can feel like a gentle way into reconnecting)
- being more cat!
- working metaphorically with clues your body is trying to share with you the only way it knows how (with physical symptoms) and so much more
