We continue our heart chakra work with the Love Your WHOLE Self chakra journey by bringing awareness to the everyday things that may be draining your energy. And this advanced practice (should you choose to accept this week’s challenge) will help you build your capacity to not argue with reality and find strength and peace no matter what’s going on around you

Start by noticing what’s bringing you down
First of all, grab your journal or any pen and paper and list ALL the things that make your heart sink.
Daily tasks.
People.
Struggles you have with your health, finances, home or anything else.
Anything and everything.
List it all.
Spend a few moments reflecting on how this list feels to get out of your head and onto paper.
You might choose to do some embodied journalling too. Record yourself talking about it then watch/listen back to notice the clues you get from your tone of voice and body language, too.

Now step into your power and notice what you can release
Notice the things you can simply stop DOING now you’re so conscious of the impact on your emotions and energy.
Notice the things you can potentially delegate to others (I cannot TELL you the joy hiring a VA for just two hours a week is bringing me after nearly 20 years in business telling myself I HAVE to do it all myself).
Notice the things you might not be able to eradicate entirely but that you can minimise.
Notice the things you can potentially group together so they’re not all disturbing your peace at different times but you’re properly psyched up to manage them.

As an advanced practice, see how it feels to embrace something you don’t want to do
In psychosynthesis the Will archetype is as important as Love as we develop self discipline.
Roberto Assagioli, psychosynthesis’ creator, was heavily influenced by yogic and other Eastern philosophies and the Yamas and Niyamas (yoga’s ethical code – the physical practises, asana, is just one of the eight limbs of yoga) encourage us to remember that all things are neutral and we can find peace by adjusting our response and not being too attached to our preferences.
KNOW what you want and don’t want.
And know when to not argue with reality.
What springs to mind as something you might consider embracing here?
How MIGHT you feel if you stop arguing with this particular reality?
Even when the stakes feel (are) so high (2024!), finding peace and freedom around our emotions and being less reactive helps us be more loving, peaceful and effective as we connect with our resources and effect change from a wholehearted place.
