Highlights from Confidence Week 1

Posted on 22/02/201913/08/2021 By EveMenezesCunningham No Comments on Highlights from Confidence Week 1
post traumatic growth, Uncategorized

This week, I’ve enjoyed sharing some tools to support your self care as you increase your confidence and self-esteem. You can see some highlights below.

For real time updates, you can connect with me via my facebook page (facebook.com/feelbettereveryday), twitter (@wellbeingeve), Instagram (@evemenezescunningham) too.

I hope you find these ideas for using your mind, body, heart and soul to improve your confidence and self-esteem helpful and that they’ll remind you of your own favourite ways to do so.

By noticing who you’re with, where you are, what you’re doing and WHY you’re doing it (purpose ALWAYS helps us get out of our own way and have more confidence – there’ll be lots more tips on this in a few weeks), you can do more of those things on purpose.

What DO you notice? You might want to share here or journal (or simply reflect).

Do you notice how your voice changes when you’re feeling less confident? I know I tend to speak too fast, interrupt, garble words but also appreciate that I now have the confidence to give myself a quick mental hug (self-talk and self-soothing is SO key for confidence and self-esteem issues – click HERE for some recent research around the benefits from Exeter and Oxford Universities) to pause, take a longer calming exhalation, laugh it off and get back on track.

What are your favourite books for when you need a confidence boost (or transfusion)?

There are lots of ideas in my book, 365 Ways to Feel Better: Self-care Ideas for Embodied Wellbeing, too. Click HERE.

If you’d like more confidence working or playing with crystals, you can access free how to video, articles and more HERE.

Which of these tools (or others you already had) have been most helpful? What will you do differently as a result?

How do you feel when you imagine giving YOURSELF permission to shine rather than waiting for anything from outside?

You might want to journal or reflect with a friend or therapist or coach-therapist. If you want to share here, via social media (links above and below) or email me, you’re welcome to do that, too.

Whatever you’re doing, pause to imagine how you’d do that very same thing if you believed in yourself even a little more. Then do THAT.

Big love,

Eve Menezes Cunningham self care coach therapist supervisor
